For all the love songs Tori O'Connell has sang on the streets of Dublin, she has never fallen in love. When fellow busker, Forest O'Callaghan takes over her spot on Grafton Street one day, it's loathing at first sight. Videos of them fighting and then Tori singing empowering 'fuck you' songs go viral. Everyone wants to see the young duo perform together. Forced to make an album and tour together, they're stuck with eachother. However, music and closeness are perfect ways to get to know someone else's souls. And the more Tori gets to know Forest's, the harder it is to hate him... and easier it is to love him. Oil doesn't mix with water, we were taught that when the teacher was ranting about the basic laws of science. It doesn't combine just like how light is always separate from the darkness. But what if they unified? In one word, disaster! This happened to a senior and a freshman at university. With the boundless arrogance of a wealthy and powerful heir combined with the neverending will for justice of a mundane, they declared arch-nemesis against each other and waged war. But after a particular red stain, black notes, an alligator and a bucketload of glue later, she will have to persist in denial and he will have to learn to be less possessive to soothe their growing affection for each other. The question is, will they give in? *in the process of editing and rewriting
