She'd been paranoid for the past 6 months after seeing visions of clocks and of herself with soulless eye in a void. Her parents decided not to take her to therapy thinking it was just a faze

She zoned out seeing a starved figure along with her family dead, their blood splattered everywhere-
"Mom...............look.....ghost!"
"She's probably.......................attention because of her faze........whatever"

Tears fell, wetting her jeans and sweater and seeping to the button up underneath
She stared at the monster in fear while it screeched her name
Till,
"MAYLIN"
Her little sister shaking her worryingly
"You okay?"
"Uh.... yea, I'm okay, Juli" Maylin played with her necklace
