Veronica, or "Ronny," has been on her own since the outbreak happened. At least she is now after the death of her brother. She is a fighter but she's been searching for a group for a long time. She soon finds a group and travels with them. Soon their people will run into conflicts, life threatening situations, maybe fall in love, and find something to fight for.
