Forced to go to a behavioural camp Arya and Angel meet. The two family miss-fits, one from the city, the other from the country seem to have nothing in common at all. Forced to share a room the two girls quickly realise that they are more in common than anyone could imagine.
After an experiment gone wrong at the behavioural camp Angel and Arya find themselves running from the law, they become vagabonds.
On their adventures they meet strange people. Are they like them or are they the only two?

They are taken to Camp Half-Blood, a safe haven for demigods, and taught how to fight...for about twenty seconds, then everything starts to turn upside down. Their siblings are given a prophecy, only to later realize that the prophecy wasn't really meant for them in the first place.
