A sequence in which proceeded to transpire for 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔, amongst those remaining in the underground, those in which have found themselves lucky enough to survive. Grown to a stipulate need to 𝒎𝒖𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 unsuspecting humans for the sake of saturating their 𝒉𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓, for the sake of remaining vital enough to keep going. The tumultous world inhabited by few, was never this way years before...

Amongst a world so virulent as this, a single peculiar child found herself trapped inside. The cold bit at her hands as she would trail through the snow, shivering from the lack of warmth, and yet- Belief, patience, determination,... kindness...everything persuaded her keening body to keep itself alive. Everything she loved, everything she held dear...kept her from giving in..

And no monster, no amount of 𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒓, or numbness would be enough to break her 𝒅𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕.

A gut-wrenching, animalistic scream erupted from the deepest fibers of her being as it ricocheted along the walls. It took her a moment to even register that the sound was coming from her.
