Shit gets weird when the world is broken
Reagan was born in the desecrated and mutated land of what was once known as the city of Calgary. Reagan and her parents make a living by farming the land and trading with caravans that pass by. other then her parents Reagan has a pet dog and an old synthetic human, they are considered her only friends and are also tasked with protecting the family, along with the farm. when Reagan turned 18 her farm was attacked and ravaged by Redhounds, essentially raiders that have been infected by the new plague. as a result of the attack reagan lost both of her parents and her home. being forced to find a new home Reagan and her companions set out on a mission to find a safe and secure home, in an unsafe and dangerous world this may prove to be difficult and quite possibly life threatening.

What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. "No! Please no!" she begged. "I told you to do what I say! Now suffer the consequence!" Her father grabbed her hair and shoved her towards the bed. Her head got hit by the wall and it hurt like hell. She whimpered but as if her father didn't hear it he continued to grab her once again. "Father, please" She cried" "Now you have the guts to call me father huh? I should do this more often" She tried to run but he was able to catch her in his strong hands. "NO!" She kicked him and bit his hands but to no avail. He gripped her wrist and tied it towards the bed. "Don't protest daughter or it'll excite me even more" She escaped from home and welcomed hell into her life. Every night she felt pain all over her body. Her adopter lambasted her mercilessly until she was in deep darkness. An opportunity came and she immediately took it. She thought she was already safe, but another chaos awaits her in the outside world. Every fiber of her body beg for her to give up. But this doesn't mean her life was full of misery. While she hides herself from the darkness, she founds light.
