After high school, eighteen-year-old Patrick took up residence in the apartment above his parent's book store; the same bookstore he worked at. Angsty and tired of Chicago, he only agreed to work at the dull place to gather enough money to attend an out-of-state university. He craved excitement and something to save him from the bland life he lived. When strange killings occur around the city Patrick comes face to face with a vampire but this wasn't exactly the kind of excitement he had wished for.

Note: Some parts of this story, such as the characters, are based on the 'A Little Less Sixteen Candles' video, but I put my own spin on the whole concept of the vampires and other certain details because I wanted to. Apologies in advance for grammar errors. Contains mentions of blood, death, and sex.

This is a fan fiction based on the music video "A Little Less Sixteen Candles A Little More 'Touch Me'" by Fall Out Boy (which means I own very little) When Pete Wentz wakes up as a vampire, he refuses to accept what he has become but soon must begin to fight when a group of vampires know as The Dandies want Pete to join them. Pete is played off as Brendon's estranged cousin, but the townsfolk are wary of the newcomer despite Brendon's flawless reputation. The plan goes smoothly at first, but Pete almost dies of boredom as soon as he arrives, so it's only a matter of time before he becomes entranced by the only interesting form of entertainment: the town reverend's seventeen-year-old virgin son, Patrick. Unbeknownst to the boy himself, his own innocent, curious gaze becomes the one thing Pete just can't seem to wiggle out of.
