**this is a slow story that does not include just romance bc it's meant to show what could happen in s5 with Vecna and Will's connection to the upside down**

Will Byers thought it was over. He thought that maybe, just maybe, he was done with the upside down. He never stopped feeling that small connection to Vecna but now that he has returned to Hawkins, it's become the forefront of his mind. As if everything in his life wasn't already fucked.

Was it really so much to ask for to just go back to how it was before he got trapped in the upside down? Where there was no constant torture or confused feelings? Where he felt loved by his friends? Apparently so. 

Is a happy ending really so hard to ask for?

Maybe what Jeanette needs is to fall in love with a DnD playing, rock obsessed, drug dealer named Eddie Munson...
