Every female who fails to find their mate prior to the age of 25 is required to submit themselves to the Thornbrush Facility. Run by witches, girls are put into a stasis until their mate can find them and awaken them from their spell.
Elli is only a few months out from joining the sleeping ones, and she isn't looking forward to it.
