Artemio. a boy born with wings and claws, left in the forest at the age of 4, stumbled upon Ellis, a human who had accidentally taken his lunch and began to play with it. it left the younger male confused. he stayed on a branch watching until the human male got up with his lunch mouse and walked out of the forest. since that moment the boy watched the human from that same branch.

he did this for weeks out of pure curiosity, that and he wanted to figure out exactly what the human did with his lunch. he watched and studied the boy until one day when he climbed into the branch and waited for the boy..he didn't show up.

now Artemio has turned 16 and is still hiding deep in the forest. he's enjoyed his life of living freely in the forest with all the animals and wildlife. he hasn't seen a human since the day he had seen Ellis. so, what will happen when 17-year-old Ellis and his 'friends' stumble upon defenseless Artemio in the forest during a walk? how will Ellis and his friends react to finding a creature such as Artemio?
