This story takes place within the modern era of 2022, The world government was ran by a large council of industries and companies such as Nintendo or Capcom. Every once in a couple of years after a member of the council is purged due to reasons Unkown, The council would hold an event in order to choose a new council member. All of the largest companies in the world come together for one massive combat tournament called Industrial Warfare, Where companies choose their strongest fighter to represent them in the combat tournament.
