Based in 1919, 25 year old Danielle Virtue has just moved to Birmingham. A wartime nurse, Danielle has just returned to England from France in the aftermath of World War One. Hoping for a fresh start in a new city, Danielle struggles to make ends meet and provide money for her mother and younger siblings. That is until Thomas Shelby, a mysterious and ambitious man, makes Danielle an offer - one that will take care of all her problems. In return, Danielle must be willing to enter a private arrangement with the Birmingham Gangster: companionship and intimacy, in exchange for security and money. Will Danielle accept Tommy's deal? And what are Tommy's true motivations for pursuing Danielle? Is it merely lust and loneliness, or does the notorious gangster have feelings for Danielle that extend beyond the signed contract?
A compelling story of love, lust, and suspense, this story is based around the plot of Peaky Blinders. All characters, excluding Danielle are not my own. While this specific story has never been written, I have seen similar plot lines on other writing platforms.

The group engaged in robbery, violence, racketeering, illegal bookmaking, and control of gambling with razor blades sewn into these caps. Everyone knew who they were. Everyone could pinpoint the family of mixed Irish Travellers with Romani origins from the very beginning. Everyone was scared. Except one. Although one could argue that she was cautious....
