"Why'd you stop?" I asked him. He didn't answer, just walked us over to my bed and set me down. "Jace..?" He kissed me hard and walked out, closing the door behind him. My name is Alexis Williams, but I like to go by Lexi. I recently signed up for a summer program with my best friend, Hayley Jacobson, where we get to live on our own for an entire summer in condos paired up with other students from different schools. It sounds exciting, right? Well leave it to me to be paired up with two guys, one of which my best friend starts to fall head over heels for, the other, well let's just say he's something. Jace Reyna and Kyler Archuleta, two boys from Valley High School living with us for an entire summer. Some ask "could we handle it, being guys and girls under one roof after all?" I say, "bring on the fun."

They don't stand out like they used to. In fact if you didn't know they were there you would probably wouldn't even notice them. After I turned to water to the shower on as hot as possible without burning my skin. I step into the shower and cry. I wasn't crying over Trevor anymore. These tears were for me. For the little girl who lost her dad, for the teenager who lost her mom, and for the adult who lost herself. It felt like the water was washing all the sadness off me because after 15 minutes of crying, it stopped. The sadness was gone. I felt something in me that reminds me of the person I used to be.
