Sadie Monroe is your average freshman. She's eager to start her first year at UCLA with her new friends, including her insanely extroverted roommate. Battling her past along with what her future may hold, she's ready to focus on school and building up her future. Although her path might get thrown off a little when the school's star quarterback, Nathan Carter is inserted into her life. He's not the type of guy Sadie wants around with his constant mood swings and determination on the game and nothing else.

When Sadie finds out a secret of Nathan's that even he may not know, she's forced to see into the life of the tall (and undeniably hot), mysterious boy who's not at all as he seems. But then again, no one is ever as they seem.
