Halo-Halo, translated as "Mix-Mix", is a dessert with a mixture of flavors each unique to its own, yet creating a harmoniously sweet taste and a beautiful array of colors. Similarly, after moving to Canada, Mielle Dizon immediately finds herself tangled with an uncanny bunch of friends each unique with their own stories to unfold. Their different colors paint the new chapter of her life, putting her and her newly found friends in a whirlwind of emotions through love, friendship, and healing.
