We follow a group of kids who do not know the world outside of a fence covering their complex. When sneaking out they discover something that they never to be real. Discovering this has brought problems to the group who soon discover that they are not human but a species of mutants. They will soon have to face a world filled with other mutants from different territories and hunters that are after their kind. They will all learn that their existence was the result of an event that happened many years ago.
