After struggling to go back to college and have a social life since the accident, she relies too much on Maverick's company. But him teaching this Top Gun course forces her to move on. Hangman being there is a plus for her, and for him. More so for him, though | Scarlette's recent accident almost cost her her position in the Navy. Phoenix, her childhood best friend, has begged her not to get back with her ex-boyfriend. Returning to Top Gun forces her to reassess her priorities. She doesn't expect to meet someone like Bob Floyd along the way.
