Still haunted by the memories of a car crash that killed her parents almost twelve years ago, Annalise Elmwood moves back to her hometown of Anchorage, Alaska to live with her sister, Cynthia, who works as a waitress at a diner.
Like any normal teenager she tries to move through high school without any complications; however it's hard and being a witch does not help at all. Evil forces try to bend her will and when she gets these "visions" it's difficult to determine the real and the unreal.
What she can determine as real is this stranger she meets at school, Alexander Orrin, and even if she doesn't know it yet he's known for her for centuries.

Book 1 Innana is a blind 17-almost 18- year old, with her sister,zeinah and her father, Ali, as her support. Her mother died so that she may live. How did she become blind? no one knows. When she was seven, a faithful night, she slept off being able to see the would through bright eyes and the next morning everything was as dark as coal. 11years later you'd think she would be used to the idea of being blind but she isn't. One night would change her life. After going to university, a week -2 weeks into the tern her vision started to clear up and to celebrate, her roommate decided to take her out for a drink. Somewhere along the line she looses her roommate and is saved by Vina or so she thinks. Vina tells the young girl she knows her and that she helped her which leaves the girl in a state of confusion. Vina snaps her finger and everything went dark again only then dose Innana realize her ability to see again is not by her power. Vina introduces her self as Savvina Vukasin, a demon but Innana refuses to believe until vina bears her claws and fangs out for Innana. The young girl asked the demon what she wants and the demon tells her in exchange for her ability to see she needs one thing but that's the one thing Innana can't give her.
