This is the tale of a young peasant girl, orphaned --- due to her parents both passing by the time she was eight years old, she then had to live on her own and try to just survive as best she could with hopes of things getting better one day.
She found herself raising herself, working many different odd jobs for food or clothes or other supplies from the townsfolk --- rarely for actual coins, for the middle to upper class families of the large town she always had called home were not as giving with their actual money but would definitely give hand me downs.
That was until the faithful day that she had met Madvrick, the man who suddenly came in and completely changed her whole life --- with the chance of a lifetime.
He, being a wealthy nobleman, decided to hire her to befriend his (odd hermit) son --- who usually stayed within his layer in their 4 story brick house, or at most ventured outside on the property they had owned, the fenced in property.
Yet, upon bringing her home he introduced her to his wife, which is when he finally heard her very sad life story --- he decided then and there that he needed to do her one better and gave her a room (within his mansion) with the only task and that is to still of befriending his son, while getting a chance to be educated properly and being given a chance at a better future.
Upon meeting the son she was memorized, as well as he was with her, they almost instantly became friends and over time she managed to get him out of his comfort zone so her could actually try new things and go places.
As she reaches the age of 18 years of, her life had truly changed forever as well as for the best... And, she always said her father was right, she was meant for more than being a peasant.
She literally was stunned the way things unfolded with the young man she was supposed to befriend...

[A/N]: Hey guys! Before I post this story, I was going to give a little insight. A very good friend of mine and I decided to write this book, and what better way to recieve constructive critcism than to share with everyone here on wattpad? I'm proud to say that we're nearly finished with it, around three to five more chapters need to be written. However, I will gladly post two chapters a week. Tonight was my last night unattached to someone. I swung my legs to one side of the bed. My bare feet brushed the cold floor and sent shivers up my spine. Scotland is much warmer this time of year. I took a few steps toward the window, but before I got too far I heard chatter just outside my door. "She’ll never be happy with him." The first voice, a female, was barely audible. "She could be. She’s just upset about Benjamin." A second voice, a man, replied to the woman. "She’ll never love Derick." A hint of anger played beneath the surface of the woman’s voice. I lay back down after that, so much for Emma accepting our marriage. Unhappiness coursed through my body and I became furious. I’d never love Emma either; with that I went to sleep. I dreamt of my mother singing in the castle, her voice was loud and demanding. Her words flowed so freely from her mouth and danced playfully down the halls. "You're unbearable!" He kicks her with utter contempt. "Please tell me where I'm wrong, causing you discomfort was not my intention," she said crying, causing him to hit her against the ground again. "Do you think you can live with good intentions? Didn't you have all the time you wanted to change and learn? You still dare to ask for more!" He yells at her with hatred, he blamed her for being the one will cause a woman to be beaten; He didn't want to be that kind of man. However, what he lived with her caused him to bring out what he hated the most about himself from within. -Forget it love- said a woman who was next to her- it's not worth it- this dog was supposed to be her friend, she was supposed to support her just like she did; however he managed so that he and she hated each other and thus be able to steal it. The woman on the floor does not know how much she was framed and harmed by her naivety, nor did she know that this was the beginning of her misfortunes. Because of that woman she did not stop suffering, wherever she went she suffered verbal or physical abuse and everything was orchestrated by this woman; she didn't know until she was about to faint. "Why?" She asked this unarmed woman without knowing why she hated him so much. She never did anything to hurt him. She just laughed viciously without answering him, she didn't have to waste her time with an insect; leaving La to die imprisoned in the house where she was kidnapped. "Answer me!" She got up from her bed screaming "Eh? This looks like my room; Did I reincarnate myself in the past?" She ran to the bathroom just to see that her assumption was correct. -"Why are you crying?" What, I didn't know I was crying. -"Come on." He offers a hand to help me up. -"Stay away... from me." He gently places me on the bed, and I sit on the edge, I instantly throw my hand to his face intending to slap him. As if it were muscle memory he blocks my hand and gently holds it. He crouches down not breaking eye contact. -"Stella, I'm... sorry. I acted out on you." I know Jacob, and that probably was hard for him to admit. -"Let me treat your knees." He places a gentle hand over my wound. ~ ~ ~ ~ Her Dad was murdered fighting for what was right, her mom didn't love her dad all that much...or her, she plans to follow her dad's footsteps even though that might lead her to death. Her parents had a planed marriage, her mom was more on the medium class while her dad was lower, that said, he needed money to help some important people and ended up marrying a women he didn't love.
