Katie Clayton was the twin sister of William Clayton, who were unknowingly the children of Oliver Queen.

Katie had a relatively normal life... at least for the first five years. She loved superheroes. She absolutely adored them, much like her brother.

But one day... a fateful day in the year of 2011, was enough to change everything.

That day, Katie was kidnapped and shipped to the island of Lian Yu, where she would be forced to participate in the activities of Viper; a secret organization created to train children to be the next generation of assassins.

But in the five years that she was missing, only two of them were spent on that island.

She spent the third year in Corto Maltese.

She spent the fourth year in Tokyo, Japan.

And she spent the fifth year in Gotham.

Once she returns to her family in Central City, she is not the soft-hearted girl that everyone once knew. No. She is a cynical and standoffish type of gal. But even beneath that, she is someone else. Or in better words... she is something else. She is the vigilante known as Deft.

Perhaps she was more like her father than people gave her credit for.
