Harper Cain never had a family to call her own. Having been in and out of foster homes her entire life, she never felt like she fit in anywhere. But when her social worker places her with the Hudsons, she feels like things could be different this time around. A home and a family no longer feel so out of reach.
While at her new foster her, Harper's only goal is to have a normal life. But her life is quickly turned upside down when she finds herself caught in the middle of a karate war between two rival dojos. She befriends the students of Miyagi-Do but, in doing so, becomes the new target for Cobra Kai. Tensions rise and fights breakout as she navigates the complicated world of martial arts.
Harper must confront her own personal battles while learning how to find her place in the world.
