The Magic is Gone. Their Universe has been forgotten. The adventures of the engines on the Island of Sodor have captivated generations of children. But as their market success strayed further from the truth, and with the world around the Island changing, the final adventures of the engines of Sodor were lost to history. In a different world, where society has moved on from steam and diesel engines of old, one urban explorer makes a pilgrimage to the lost, deserted Island, hoping uncover what happened to the famous engines. Piecing together what happened in the final days of the Fat Controller's railway, its time to learn what really happened to Thomas and his Friends.

Amidst the waves of steam and machinery, who can grasp the extraordinary? In the fog of history and darkness, who whispers in our ears? I awaken from the mystery and open my eyes to this world: firearms, cannons, massive ships, airships, differential engines; magic potions, divination, curses...

A young girl heads to Britain to learn about steam engines there, but little did she know she would be pointed to an adventure. Inspired by The Island Swansong by TheKnightTrain and Victor Tanzig's Stories of Sodor. This will be nowhere even close to as good as either of them, but they definitely inspired this! And some characters will be in the story while others not. I probably won't be consistent. Sorry.
