Pup has lived a pained existence.

A revered Beta under the leadership of the Colt clan, Dane appears before Pup as the acting Alpha, saving her from more hardship and possibly death in the wilds of North America.

With him, she finds a home and maybe even a few friends with the ranks of the Colts.

However, when the pack returns to their rightful settlement and the Alpha returns to lead, Pup quickly finds herself clawing at the edge of an imaginary cage. She's afraid to hurt Dane and equally afraid to be the cause of his demise, and when deadly creatures set on killing her start to show up, Pup proves to be the poison that could hurt the person she cares about most.
