Welcome to the story of a pair of most unlikely and unwilling heroes.
Two very ancient, yet very dysfunctional grey aliens; Alpha and Jorg have a very long history with the Earth and it's wonderfully flawed denizens.
Whether trying to uplift unenlightened tribesmen and failing miserably, causing one infamous interstellar DWI incident, or inadvertently sending a young Terence McKenna on the trip of his life. Try as they might one way or the other our heroes have irrevocably changed the course of mankind time and time again and they will continue to do so.
This is Kinder Cosmic; a sardonic commentary of the human condition from the perspectives of those who are anything but and a most unrequited love story.
They're not the heroes we need. They're not the heroes anyone had asked for. They're the heroes that we deserve.

Mars wants to see the world and experience everything it has to offer him, but he can't do that from inside a glass cage locked away in a laboratory. A failed attempt to create a better weapon with partial immunity to the green, Mars is a lab experiment whose cells are routinely reprogrammed to test new algorithms and their response to the green. But she's not the only one, there are nine others supposed to be besides her; two of which never made it past their mother's womb and one who's incompatible. What makes them special, is also what makes them dangerous. Ripped from their normal, day-to-day,school life, family and friends with no warning, they find out who they are. And why they're alive. But fitting back into that normal life they missed so much is proving to be hard. Especially for Maya, who has a tendency to get herself in trouble and extraordinary situations ENTIRELY her fault. (She'd rather die than admit that of course) Old life brings the problem of boys, unwanted advances, homework, teachers and of course, a boyfriend with she had a rather uncharacteristic meet-up. Scott, Sed, Andy are her childhood friends all the way with her in this. Almost all the way. They didn't expect her to change or to come back at all and they are having a HARD time adjusting to the new Maya. She's dangerous, she's hot and she knows it. She has done a lot in the past two years that will catch up to her and stuff after that which refuses to stay hidden.
