Kousei Arima's world has come to a fiery end.
As if losing the beautiful, free-spirited Kaori Miyazono two months ago wasn't enough, a hellfire of nuclear missiles suddenly descended upon his home just as he was about to enjoy another spring. As far as Arima knows, he is the sole survivor of the unexpected apocalypse. Trapped in his fallout shelter by debris, he has no choice except to ration out his meals and wait to die.
Then, suddenly, Kousei is rescued by two unlikely allies: Black Widow, last surviving member of the Avengers, and Arnim Zola, a dismembered consciousness now in an Ultron drone's body. Just when Kousei thinks things couldn't get any weirder, two strange beings emerge from a portal in the sky. One is a sorcerer of unmatched skill; the other is a celestial guardian of ALL universes. Kousei is beyond petrified. Why has he of all people been chosen to help foil the plans of a rampaging conqueror? It is on this mission, meeting heroes across the multiverse, that Kousei learns just how much power his music holds. As part of his reward, Kousei is placed into a new universe where he has a chance to rebuild his old life. More importantly, a new chance to reunite with the girl he loved and lost...

After Kirishima left him for unknown reasons, he kept his emotions under wraps. After a sleep disturbance at around 1 AM, Bakugo gets a call indicating his friends were in trouble. Your Lie In April - The Second Sonata
The beloved story of the piano prodigy returns as he embarks on a journey from being an awkward boy to a full fledged adult. Although just barely on the cusp of manhood, Arima Kousei already studies in his dream school, has a decent set of true friends, and is together with the most popular girl in the campus. However, there is one problem. A vacuum of space lies in the middle of his chest that used to house something very precious to him. Join Kousei as he tells his story through his own eyes, along with a few friends to help him out, on how he faces the tumultuous life of a teenager trying to move forward from a painful yet colorful memory. It begins just barely four years after he met the love of his life, Miyazono Kaori. Author's Note: This is the author's first entry in this site. His works before usually featured writing backstories for roleplaying builds in games and fantastical worlds from his imagination. The change in scenery is due to the author's "traumatic, but wonderfully memorable" experience from watching the anime series, "Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso". Don't get him wrong though. Even being a self proclaimed "otaku by heart", the show and manga is arguably his favorite to date. Although the ending is justifiably reasonable enough to cap such a beautiful story, he just really can't come to terms with it yet and decided to make a version of a sequel himself.
