As if reading the older's mind, Y/N looked up at the man, a bitter smile gracing his face.

"It was the right call, Bruce--it was the only call. It was us against the world. We were fighting for the survival of humanity and you did what had to be done." Y/N turned away, facing the window so that he could gaze at the setting sun.
