My cousin Lady Rin-chan came up with the idea to write a Christmas story for the Shepherds in FEA. The story included both of our tacticians in it. I enjoyed the writing process immensely, helping with ideas and even doodling for her, hehe. Things got busy around Christmas, though, and she hit a bit of a slump. She offered to let me contribute to her story by writing my own POV segment, and I'm also going to post that here, alone with whatever other holidays I may write about with the FEA characters. "What if you're my date for Christmas?" I'm sure my eyes would jump out of their sockets if it wasn't for tendons and shit. Am I hallucinating? "We could go get McDonald's or some stupid shit like that," his laugh is hot on my skin. "Is that what people usually do on Christmas? I never celebrated normally, you know." My chest deflates with a huff. He didn't actually mean it in a romantic way, even if he did choose some ambiguous words to say it. "Yeah, but I like KFC better."
