Clarissa Louise 'Lou' Fortuna, is one of the heirs of the mafia organization La Fortuna Famiglia. The family was supposed to be handled by his twin brother Constancio Fortuna VII but then he was abducted by another clan that they don't have any idea about. In search of the heir, their parents died mysteriously.  As the only heir of the family, she was sent to her grandmother in the Philippines where she was named Clarisse Dela Cruz for her safety. 

On the first day of her junior year in college, the new students came in and her connection to her brother became active. She identified Constantine Seven Dela Carpio as his twin brother via 'hunch'. Seven knows that Clarisse is his twin sister but he can't just tell her as he is the heir of the Dela Carpio Family, one of the notorious mafia organizations in Italy.
