17 year old Meghan (Meg) lives in a world where everyone can see everyone else's Death Day except their own. A person's Death Day is when they are destined to die by cruel Fate. Lots of people had tried to avoid dying, but it just was impossible to avoid their Fate. In this world, everyone was always looking for signs of their Death Day, like when people were being nice to them for no reason. No one could tell another person what their Death Day was, but not by choice. If anyone tried to tell another person when their Death Day was, they just couldn't. The person's body who wanted to tell the other person when their Death Day was just wouldn't let them. They physically could not. In this story, join Meg on a journey that involves a best friend, mean teacher, a Death Day, a trip to the mall, LOTS of black and purple colored stuff, a shocking discovery, and Meg's own unique sense of humor.
