Hope in the Darkness

They are academic rivals. She doesn't hate him, but she knows he despises her.

Hope, a straight A student, who never lets her guard down around Dark. She wants to prove to her parents that she is intelligent and capable of success. But her rival's grades are consistently way greater than hers. Dark, a loner and mysterious classmate of Hope, who is always competing with her. Because of rumors, all of his classmates dislike him.

Everyone believes they were born to compete with one another, but little do they know that both of them have deep reasons for their competitive nature. One day, Hope found herself on a school's rooftop begging Dark not to do what he was going to do. She vowed to help him, not knowing that his story would affect her.
