Lydia of the Lavender Isles

Lydia De Clare is the daughter of the Marquess of Ranem, one of the Lavender Isle's biggest cities. Surrounded by wealth and lavishness her whole life, Lydia craves the outside world from which her father keeps her. Her childhood friend, Elias, helps her escape the grasp of her father by finding ways of sneaking out of her manor. He belongs to a fellow noble house that has a long history of knights, protecting the De Clare house, Elias does everything he can to keep her by his side as much as possible, for more reasons than one. In her times of escape, Lydia meets more people entranced by her curiosity to learn. But how much more will her father take before he shuts her up in the manor for good?
