Gabriella used to believe that everyone was just an illusion, and that she shouldn't care about anyone. The death of her boyfriend hit her pretty hard, but after being upset for as long as she could she just stopped showing anyone that she cared for them. She held back too long for her crush on the new kid in town, who just so happens to take interest in her. She didn't realize that she had more coming her way then what she expected, but when she acts on her feelings the story takes a twist history may repeat itself and she doesn't know it yet.

Ariella's biggest desire in life has always been such a simple one. She wants to be 'normal.' Unfortunately, that one simple wish has never been within her grasp. Coming from a long line of witches is bad enough, but she's even more different than the rest of her family. Heart
Her name was Gabriella Quintanilla. She was a senior in high school during this time. She had the looks, all the boys, the popularity, the clothes, and even the grades. And in no way was she ignorant of any of these things--quite the opposite. She knew that she was above average in most categories of life, and had no problem reminding people repeatedly of that fact. I'm not going to lie---I didn't like her. Not at all. To be completely honest, I threatened to kill her with my bare hands. And the scary thing is, I meant it. I wanted her to die.
