But a shining light of hope promises to save them both, and (y/n) learns that family is those you choose... 

Warning, this will breech into some Dead Dove Do Not Eat style territory at times with (Y/N)s backstory.

The story itself takes cannon and throws it to the four winds, Eris entire backstory is kinda flipped, so be prepared for cannon changes.

Characters are aged up, Eri is 6 years old.

It was a dumb decision to trust another adult, but what could she do? In other words, Y/n gets saved and has to learn how to live like an ordinary teenage girl in a society too complex for someone born before technology was a thing. That is, until he met the little girl with white hair and red eyes who gave his life meaning again. (Or: Shinsou had been kidnapped and tortured for years. He's not sure how to function once he gains his freedom, even with Aizawa, Yamada, and Eri by his side. But he's determined to figure it out with his family by his side, and maybe a few new friends, as well.)
