Eddie's eyes fluttered open. No light shown in the upside down but his reflexes made him raise a hand in front of his face.
He looked at his hand, "What the hell..."
He was alive, covered in blood, but alive. He felt sharpness in his mouth and his vidion seemed more clear in the dark. He was distracted for a second before remembering everything that happened.
"Y/n!" He shouted and looked over at her.
A scream ripped from his mouth as she slowly got up. She was covered in blood and had giant wings like a bat. She was different now...but she was alive with him.
Now they were stuck there, together forever.

Fallen Again
While watching the movie and reading the books, a YouTube video discussing how plot twists and different character arcs could have improved the movie sparked some scenes and debates among us in the book club. So my friend and I decided to rewrite the movie with some better plot twists. This was thought of in a car after escaping an awkward dinner. Fair warning, we lost some brain cells along the way and jumped off the diving board and lost the plot. This book is an adventure that made me cry and throw my phone. Enjoy. "You are a monster, Cam," I rasped, my voice thick with loathing. The truth of it vibrated in my bones. "Perhaps," he'd conceded, a chilling smile touching his lips. "But at least I'm an honest one. And I'm willing to do what's necessary." Luce, a faint, almost imperceptible scoff escaping me. "Gabby?" I repeated, as if the idea was ludicrous. "Gabby and I aren't together. Never have been." Luce stared at me, stunned. "But... I saw her kiss you." I merely shrugged, a hint of something cynical in my eyes. "People do stupid things at parties. Doesn't mean anything." "Quite a show, Price," he said, his voice low, almost a purr. "Lucky you had Daniel to catch you, huh?" The subtle emphasis on 'Daniel' was not lost on Luce.

But he was badly injured and traumatized. He leaves Hawkins and doesn't return for 21 years. So we're in 2008. Steve has a daugther born the year Eddie vanished. The two of them start a relationship despite the age gap. Another thing I should say is that for this story I had everyone stay in Hawkins during the Vecna episode.
