An innocent camping trip. Three teens. Only one survives. Veronica wakes up in a hospital, dazed and confused. It was the bear, everyone tells her, but it wasn't a bear. It was something far worse. It had been watching her since she arrived with her friends at the camp. It was fixated on her, wondering if she ever felt its cold gaze. It enjoyed watching her. It wanted her, and not in the way it usually wanted its prey.

However, working in such a field doesn't completely keep her from interacting or coming close to the animals she fears so much, especially when she's sent on an expedition along with some explorers to an uninhabited island to research and discover new species of plants and animals as well as search for an elusive and highly venomous serpent that is said to inhabit the strange isle. It also doesn't help when their helicopter suddenly malfunctions and the group ends up crash-landing in the middle of a dense jungle with no way of contacting the outside world for help. and to make things worse for poor Lyra, something seems to be stalking her in this new and unfamiliar environment. It's bad enough she's trapped with no way home in such a dangerous place, but when she comes across signs of a monster lurking somewhere on this uncharted isle, she comes to find that the worst of her nightmares have only just begun. because the thing that's been stalking her from the shadows as fangs and scales just like the creatures she fears the most, with intentions of keeping her trapped with it on the isle.

I wrote this book back in my creepypasta phase and I find it so cringy. But that's just me idk maybe other people will like it. This is my first story here on Wattpad so if you read this I hope I don't dissapoint, this story is basically a creepypasta story since some of them are in it but it's mostly focused on Wren the girl and her life being a cannibal, she is 17 and lives in an abandoned house in the woods shes 5,9, very light skin, skinny, green hazel like eyes, and shaggy blonde hair.
