The bus grinds to a stop beside a sign labelled: WELCOME TO GOTHAM CITY, in peeling black letters. Ethan and I are the first to get off, carrying nothing but a small suitcase and twin backpacks. No one follows us off the bus, a reminder of how horrifying Gotham City must seem to the outside world. The other passengers must think us martyrs or at least suicidal. Storm clouds rumble above our heads and in true "Vega Bad Luck"-as Ethan calls it- the sky opens up to rain. My brother and I are from Florida, we know rain. Hell, we know hurricanes that obliterate whole towns, but there is something about Gotham that sends a shiver down my spine. Maybe its the dark, crime ridden alleyways, the murderers and the villains. Or maybe its the heroes.

Set around S4E11 of 'Gotham' Oswald becomes Jerome's... whatever while sat in Arkham, waiting to plan his escape so he can safely get at Sofia and save Martin. He comes to terms with the arrangement quicker than expected. It's not awful, and Jerome's influence in the asylum helps make his stay more tolerable than it was the first time. It's not a huge price to pay. He's working hard to move past Edward and he's pretty proud of himself for it. But his eyes catch the shine of those idiotic glasses that frame his nose so well, and Oswald almost falls out of Jerome's lap when he realizes that Edward has been arrested and is here at Arkham with him... again. Because the last time they were locked up together had turned out so well.Complete
