A brief story that is a snippet of something that is an adaptation of Baz Luhrmann's 1996 'Romeo + Juliet' based on William Shakespeare's 1597 'Romeo + Juliet'. The story is set on Julio's wedding day to teenage sweetheart Sam. Sam is humble, maybe a bit over caring while also loyal and a man that knows how to love. Julio is excited therefore wondering if it is right. His friends tell him and reassure him that Sam loves him. The problem is that Julio has an ex called Romeo. Romeo is confident, assertive, a bit cocky, attractive while also very caring. Warren betrayed Julio by sleeping with Romeo then later starting a relationship with him. Julio was heartbroken but feels much better now and is ready to move on. Until the day he sees Romeo. When he sees Romeo, he feels so emotional he can't stand it. Romeo makes a promise to love him. If only if Julio can see that Romeo really does love him and wants him back. 

The story is set in the United Kingdom. Julio is Black British, and Romeo is White British. 

In the United Kingdom in 2005 civil partnerships were legal and in 2014 gay marriage became legal because of politician Nick Clegg. 

The story is about passion, lust, attraction, sex, intensity, affection, desire, trust, honesty, denial, love, relationship, and life choice.
