Survival in a Strange World: Act 2 

*Major Spoilers ahead* 

You have been warned!

Boss Mason and Stompier arrive at Faulty Mine to visit the Master and help uncover what he is searching for. But standing between them and what they seek is a series of challenges that will test their skills, bravery and knowledge. 

Meanwhile Stephen continues to investigate his past and find the cause behind his doppelgangers existence, all while following Spirit's plea to find Mason and the Master and stop whatever they have planned. But with Raider's new idea to catch up to them, Stephen is about to step into a world far more dangerous than he could possibly imagine.

While the story is set in the world of Minecraft, it can be read as a typical fantasy setting and no knowledge of Minecraft is required to understand the plot.
Some things may differ slightly from how they appear/operate inside the game but I have tried to keep as loyal to game mechanics as possible. 
Any characters resemblance to real life people is entirely coincidently.

George is cancer free after a long battle full of chemotherapy and surgeries at his fourteenth. He starts living his life again, goes back to school and hangs out with his friends and family to appreciate all the small things in life as his leg starts hurting again... Clay is grieving because his mother passed away from lymphoma, a cancer type that's running in his family. With barely anyone around him who can comfort him while grieving, he also needs to deal with his severe anxiety coming from emetophobia, his extreme fear of throwing up. But then the worst thing happens... just as Clay gets diagnosed with blood cancer, George gets diagnosed for the second time with bone cancer. Clay's fear is so big that he doesn't know how to go on and George doesn't know if he can fight this battle a second time... Warnings: -Cancer (bone cancer (relapse)/blood cancer) -Suicidal thoughts/suicide attempt (short) -Bullying (only once in the end) -Throwing up (skippable) -Chemotherapy -Amputation ⚠️ Clay has emetophobia in this story and for all the people with this same phobia, I added a trigger for mentions/talk about throwing up/nausea, a trigger for nausea and one for throwing up. They are all skippable!!

I entered the cave and saw a red crystal sealed in ice. "Woah." I whispered. The crystal glowed and the ice shattered. I jumped back and fell to the ground, watching as the ice broke completely. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain. He's slowly losing his trust, friends, and his sanity. His depression plus the mistreatment from his soon-to-be husband leads to the close call of attempted suicide. Will he be able to escape? Or will he perish from the exploitation of Schlatt? --------------- Fair warning, I had written this in December 2020, so the entire storyline is shit. I'd recommend going through and just reading the summaries for the first like 16 chapters :D

The continent of Kiris had four emblems that helped keep mobs at bay. They were destroyed by an evil sorcerer who tried to take over the continent, by controlling the mobs using dark magic. The sorcerer was stopped by 8 mysterious warriors, who disappeared just as sudden as they had appeared. They were referred to as the Emblem knights. A few years later a sage received a vision that new emblems had been formed. The rulers decided to unite and send their best men to find the emblems, but the tasked proved to be harder than expected. *This book is a Dreamnotfound Fanfic, but it will also feature other ships. (Karlnap, Skephalo, etc.) If you don't like it then don't read it.
