20 year old Gabrielle (Gigi) Playa-Lancaster is somehow related to royalty. She's known about it her whole life, and she doesn't understand it herself either, but she does know that she is a Lady and that she can get away with murder.

Although the murder part has nothing to do with her status.

One day, she has to make a public appearance for who knows what, and at the end, she curtsies, unknowingly letting a gang member in the crowd shoot at her brother, Isaac, who is standing behind her. Luckily, he misses, but no one catches the shooter as he flees.

A few days later, Isaac decides to go play Blackjack with some random people in a bar using some of their royal money for the stakes. Gigi barely bats an eye. But when she accidentally tells her parents about Isaac's gambling and they decide to remove all his funds and now Isaac has no money to pay the people he played with- who turned out to be part of a gang (the Green Ghost Reapers)- she freaks a little bit.
