[This is a preview of the upcoming story, "Stone Tree, USA"] After being accused of a horrible crime, Detective Aiden Whitlock is given a choice. Be indefinitely suspended or be transferred to another state to salvage his career. Whitlock chooses to be sent to Stone Tree, Idaho with a seed of curiosity as all research into the town leads to dead ends. Settling into his new life away from Brooklyn, he learns that Stone Tree is filled with secrets, dark entities, and strange disappearances. The people live in the shadow of death as they border between a life of easy living amongst vast wilderness and a life of vicious paranoia as one wrong turn could get them plastered on a missing poster. With two local residents, Mechanic Jackie Maddison and Coroner Gabriel Asher, as his guide to the odd town of mystery, Detective Whitlock sets out to unravel the true nature of Stone Tree and the yawning forest surrounding it.
