Melany Flores is the new student in Forks high school.
She meets Jasper Hale in a class and suddenly feels weird when she is around him after they had became friends.
But for Melany, there was no happy ending for her.
Melany' s family is not any friendly family, her father abuses her and her brother and mother does nothing to stop him.
Jasper sees bruises and scares all over body, and wonders why did she receive them.
Both Melany and Jasper plan on being together but Melany's father has a problem with them together and plans to keep them apart.
