Mature
Annaliese manages to escape the grasp of her extremely toxic and abusive ex boyfriend of three years, and moves to Detroit, where she finds her job of being a middle school teacher. Her first day being an official teacher, she gets a foreign exchange student. The child speaks zero English, while his father knows a bit too much. Over time, Annaliese realizes that she is seeing way too much of her students father, and begins to feel like he may have ill intentions. "Is he stalking me" - "? Why wont he leave me alone?" - "Is he outside my fucking window?" Although, amongst all the burning questions, she has one that she really can't find an answer to. "Do I 'want' him to stop?" - "Do I 'want' him to leave me alone?" - "Do I... like this?" The real answer is detrimental. But with that, comes a price. A big price. A price that she doesn't quite know if she'll be able to pay.
