Kleo Katimski ran away from home-- and found herself in another part of the multiverse. She's confused and scared of her own power, but soon finds friendship, comfort and understanding in Mike, a mechanic-in-training from a dystopian world who wants to help her understand her abilities. Together, they travel the multiverse and meet sisters on different sides of a superhero war, Argentine witches, a girl with her own power, and many more people who can't seem to find a place anywhere in the multiverse. But if Kleo really wants to understand her powers, her group of misfits will have to find the mysterious Rand, guardian of the land of death.
