"Marry me, Cassie. Fulfill the promise you made to me. Become the demon's bride." His voice was deep, laced with something ancient, something unbreakable. He stepped closer, his burning crimson eyes never leaving hers. Her breath hitched. Her heart pounded in her chest, fear and something unexplainable tangling together. "And if I refuse?" she whispered. A smirk curled on his lips, dark and knowing. "Then I will make you ready... but you will marry me." She wanted to call him insane, to tell him he had the wrong person. But the way he looked at her-like he had waited lifetimes just for this moment-shook her to her core. He spoke of promises she didn't remember, of a past she couldn't recall. Yet, something inside her ached at his words, a strange sense of déjà vu wrapping around her like a ghostly embrace. What happens when a demon claims you as his lost lover, swearing that you once vowed to marry him?

I wrote some short stories out of enjoyment. None are connected in any way. Some are dark, others have suicidal actions and thoughts, a few deal with "break-ups".

They called us monsters, they said we are untamed beasts, they told us we are cursed - they were right. That was centuries ago, since than we evolved. We repressed monster in us, we tamed the beast, we mitigated the curse. Now, is them hunting us, is them chasing vampires, is them killing humans - yet, they declared themselves; protectors of human race, they calling themselves; Guardians. But one question haunts us all: Who deserves to live and who deserves to die?
