After 10 years of the harsh battle of Eggman and Sonic, peace was finally found as Eggman retired from being a Villain and Sonic became a hero of Mobius. Shadow and his team continued to work for G.U.N. as they receive a new mission to take down one of the top Assassins of all time of Metropolis, (Y/N) (L/N).
In the big city, Shadow finds something interesting about their target and it makes him go solo on the mission to find out why the Top Assassin reminded him of someone before.
