In a world where black hair is seen as a sign of bad luck, Delilah Kinsley has known nothing but hatred and rejection. As an orphan, she grew up being bullied and avoided by everyone because of her black hair. She learned to keep her head down and stay away from people who looked at her with disgust.

Everything changed when a young and powerful Grand Duchess visited the orphanage. The Grand Duchess also had beautiful black hair, yet she was respected and feared by everyone. She decided to adopt Delilah and took her into her home.

For the first time in her life, Delilah felt loved. For twelve happy years, she lived as the Grand Duchess's beloved daughter.

But on her seventeenth birthday, everything fell apart.

The Grand Duchess died while protecting Delilah. Instead of mourning with her, people blamed Delilah's black hair for her death. They called her cursed and threw her out.

With nowhere else to go, Delilah tried to find safety with a friend. But before she could reach them, she was killed.

When Delilah opened her eyes again, she was five years old.

She had returned to the day the Grand Duchess first came to the orphanage.

Remembering everything from her past life, Delilah decides to change her fate. If being her daughter was the reason the Grand Duchess died, then she would do anything to stop it.

She decides to refuse the adoption.

But the Grand Duchess has already chosen Delilah.

No matter how hard Delilah tries to push her away, the determined noblewoman refuses to give up on her. At the same time, Delilah must face the same cruel world that once hated her.

Can Delilah change her future?

Or will the same tragedy happen again, no matter how hard she tries to stop it?
