The StarCourt Mall just opened in Hawkins, giving a bunch of teens including Talulah an opportunity at earning cash during the summer. Which Talulah is grateful for, allowing to leave her job as a part-time life guard and saving her an awkward summer from working with with her ex-boyfriend. Talulah was going to swear off all men in Hawkins, well until she walks into the wood and purchases something from a certain metal head. She finds the rumors are absolutely wrong about him. Slowly discovering he isn't some insane Satan worshipper, but instead a giant lovable dork. Follow the story about two polar opposite teens fall in love and have an average high school teenager life. As average as it can be for two teens unaware of the true dangers that lay in the shadows of their small boring town. For now.
