One boy 16, one boy 17. When the 17 year old, Hieu, moves from Vietnam to a new high school in Canada, he's shy and afraid to talk to anybody. As the first month passes, without any progress in his relationships, a 16 year old boy, Elliot, is partnered with him during their chemistry class and is assigned a 25 page questionnaire. When Elliot and Hieu study after school and work on their project together, they get to know each other, and a shy Hieu turns out to be a loving, positive, an interesting boy, quite to Elliots surprise. As they open up more over the next few days, the topic of their sexualities arises. Coincidentally, both of them have avoid think about their sexualities or discovering it. Hieu talks about how back when he was younger in Vietnam, he was teased for being gay. It's lead him to fully avoiding ever considering being gay, or any of his sexuality. Elliot, an avid soccer player, has been teased since before he can remember for being feminine, he knows that he's gay but he feels that if he admits to it, he'll be a failure. The more in common they have, the closer they feel.
