I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! I wrote this story before I knew what I was even doing! This was written in 2011 and is unedited and sloppy. It's the first story I ever wrote. Maybe one day I'll be able to do an edit now that I know what I'm doing more. First step, moving out of my parent's house. Second step, finding a roommate. Kendra finally thought she was free. She's 21 and getting a place away from her parents. She never thought it was going to be this hard but when you end up with a sex-crazed roommate that doesn't know the meaning of quiet or privacy... things can get a little complicated.
