Set in the year 178 AD, this story follows the lives of the five Pernelle siblings. The place in which they reside as the royal family along with their parents, is called Kannonville-an isolated island unknown to the rest of the world. However, Renae, Annalise, Benjamin, Jane, and Elizabeth find out that their seemingly beautiful and harmonious home is much more than it seems. Through dealing with corrupt politics, loss, and learning about dark secrets of the past, the Pernelle siblings must find a way to save their home and each other.
